In this shitty economy, i m looking for a job??? well while whenever that happens i developed an interest in cooking.. well all cooking needs yummy, tasty juices. Be it the basic curry or pasta sauces or ice-cream sauces. So i thought i have to be an expert on making basic sauces. With few trials and failures i conquered my quest. I would like to share my recent ice-cream sauce that i made..
my audience and victims of my trials are of course my 7 year old daughter and my brutally honest 4 year old son.
Ingredients:
2 squares unsweetened chocolate, broken up
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons butter, cut in small pieces
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Put chocolate and water in a heavy medium saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring with a rubber spatula until chocolate has melted and blended with water, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Add sugar; continue cooking over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved, about 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted and blended. Stir in vanilla and serve immediately. Makes about 1 cup of chocolate sauce.
my kids seemed to enjoy the above but please dare to try the above recipe and if possible let me know ur opinion.
Thanks,
